FAQs about OzReach

WHAT IS GLOBEREACH:
Has simply been created to facilitate what our churches are doing oversees.
NOTE: We have no plans to start a church planting group oversees. Rather we are relating to and building into similar networks like ours that are doing as we are in their own country and culture.

WHAT IS THE TRANSLOCAL TEAM:
The translocal team is a group of leaders that have been called and chosen to relationally oversee and build into the churches of OzReach and beyond. They have no governmental authority, only relational authority that is given by the senior leader and eldership.

WHAT ABOUT ACCOUNTABILITY:
CHURCHES
Every church that relates to OzReach is interdependent (mutually dependent). The team leader (senior minister or lead elder) is primarily accountable to their team or board. It is their responsibility to relate to the OzReach translocal team.

CITIES and REGIONS
As relationships among the churches grow in various regions and cities, our desire is, that while every church is individual, they would have a sense of oneness and common vision for their city. This unity would lead to an understanding that they are one church in many locations, able from time to time unite for specific events:

  • Leadership Intensive days
  • Prayer
  • Outreaches
  • Training Schools
  • Advertising
  • Social and community events etc
