We believe according to the Bible, that:
- The Bible is the infallible Word of God
- There is one God, the Creator, eternally existing in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died a unique and atoning death
- Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father
- We are cleansed from sin through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
- Sharing communion helps us to remember that Jesus Christ gave His life for us.
- Jesus will come again and judge everyone.
- The person of the Holy Spirit, with His fruits and gifts, abides in the church.
- The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is for all believers and enables them to operate in His gifts.
- Water Baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ and His completed work.
- Both the saved and lost will be resurrected, the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting damnation.
- To have the very best life is to live for God and have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
- In essential beliefs we have unity:
“there is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism: one God and father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4:4-6)
- In non-essential beliefs we have liberty:
“Accept him whose faith is weak without passing judgement on disputable matters.” (Romans 14:1)
We also believe in:
- Good beer and wine in moderation
- Great sex in marriage, and
- Enjoying life to the full without violating heaven
